Skill at Arms Training and Horse Hire

Ditchling Common Stud (DCS) near Brighton in West Sussex is a leading horse riding and training establishment in the UK which specialises in teaching the sport of mounted skill-at-arms (SAA).  It is also 'home' to Sussex Peggers Riding Club (SPRC) - a British Riding Club that was formed in 2009 for the purpose of developing and promoting the sport of SAA both nationally and internationally.  DCS has been supplying and training riders and horses for England 's Medieval Festival for a great many years : the Festival's Tournament is now run as a SPRC event.

Lessons in the sport of mounted skill-at-arms are regularly held at Ditchling Common Stud (DCS) Riding School. These lessons are and can be attended by both novice and experienced riders and horses (either owned by the stud or privately owned).
